Introducing the Giant Watch Chain Succulent, known as Crassula imperialis, which is an intriguing and visually striking plant that belongs to Crassula, opens in a new tab genus. This unique succulent is renowned for its delicate, cascading appearance that resembles the links of a watch chain, lending it both its common name and its distinct aesthetic appeal. Its lush, green foliage and low-maintenance nature make it a popular choice for both indoor and outdoor gardens, providing a touch of elegance and exoticism to any plant collection.

Native to South Africa, this Giant watch chain succulent plant thrives in arid and semi-arid environments, where it has adapted to withstand prolonged periods of drought Apart from the name "Giant Watch Chain Succulent," Crassula imperialis is also known by other common names such as "Princess Pine" and "Green Pagoda." These names highlight its attractive, structured growth pattern and the vibrant green color of its leaves, which resemble the architectural forms of pagodas or pine trees.

The Crassula imperialis is a perennial plant that forms dense mats of interwoven stems.

Each stem is adorned with tiny, overlapping leaves that create a braided appearance. This succulent can reach a mature size of about 12 inches long.

This rare, impressive houseplant features branching stems of tightly overlapping, interlocking leaves, starting upright but eventually bending over and trailing due to leaf weight. It grows in a square mass similar to Crassula muscosa, but thicker.

When it blooms, the giant watch chain plant produces small, star-shaped white or pale pink flowers that cluster at the tips of the stems, adding a subtle touch of beauty to its already charming foliage. It blooms during the summer to fall.

Caring for Crassula imperialis is relatively straightforward, making it an excellent choice for both novice and experienced gardeners. It thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate some direct sunlight, especially during the morning hours. It prefers well-drained succulent  soil, opens in a new tab, to prevent root rot. Watering should be done sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings to mimic its native arid conditions.

When growing indoors, the ideal temperature range for this Crassula succulent is between 60°F and 75°F. It can tolerate occasional dips in temperature but should be protected from frost. For outdoor cultivation, Crassula imperialis is best suited for USDA hardiness zones 9 to 11, where the climate is warm and mild.

The Crassula giant watch chain can be propagated through stem cuttings or leaf cuttings. To propagate, take a healthy stem or leaf cutting and allow it to callous over for a few days. Then, plant the cutting in well-draining soil and water it lightly. Within a few weeks, roots will begin to form, and a new plant will start to grow. This method allows gardeners to easily expand their collection or share this delightful plant with others.

Overall, the Giant Watch Chain Succulent (Crassula imperialis) is a captivating addition to any plant enthusiast's collection. Its unique, cascading growth pattern and delicate foliage make it a standout feature in both indoor and outdoor settings. With its straightforward care requirements and easy propagation, this succulent offers both beauty and simplicity, making it a perfect choice for enhancing the aesthetic appeal of any garden or home. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting your plant journey, Crassula imperialis is sure to bring joy and elegance to your green space.

The really work!
Bought these or a friend with severely dry cracked feet. The change was significant and immediate. They wore them around the house for a day and that night they could already feel the difference.

Fabulously bizarre and effective
These silicone socks have to be the strangest item I have ever ordered from Amazon. However strange they are, I was pleasantly surprised with them. My order came with two pairs, and I took one pair out to wash before use. I laughed at handling them then because they were a cross between hospital socks and leftover mannequin skin…trippy. The socks dried fast, so I put on foot lotion and put the socks on. The socks are beige skin tones that cover the entire foot up to the ankle, basically booties. The silicone is very soft and makes putting on and taking off the socks easy. They are also surprisingly easy to walk around in because the bottoms have grips, again, like hospital socks. I walked on tile, hardwood, and carpet with no slipping. The booties also stayed in place with no issues. I was concerned my feet would sweat, but that didn't happen. I was able to wear them for 3 hours without sweaty feet. When I took them off, my feet were a lot more soft than before or if I had used regular socks. For reference, my feet are not terrible, but the skin around my toes is dry and peeling from my picking(gross, I know). The socks I got are a size large, which worried me because they are big, but the site said for my shoe size (9) that's what I should order, and they were right. They are the perfect size and stretchy for room. I can't believe how cool and well-thought-out these socks are, on top of working. Honestly, these are among the top 20 favorite items I've ordered from Amazon. They may look incredibly strange, and they are, but they work wonders.

Absolute game changer for chronically dry feet/cracked heels
Size: S (up to size 7)-Beige
I had recently bought a pair of silicone heel/ankle wraps to fill out my boot a little since I noticed my heels were lifting when I was skating. I tested them out around the house and noticed they left my heels softer while the rest of my sockless feet got quite dry. So I got these full foot silicone socks to see the effect of having my whole foot covered. I slather the entirety of my feet with Dr. Scholl's Severe Cracked Heel Restoring Balm (love how convenient it is to apply it to my feet with the solid stick form) and then slip them into these silicone socks. After just a couple hours, when I pull out my feet they're (a teeny bit sweaty at first), but then overall soft and smooth and have absorbed the balm fully leaving barely any residue in the silicone sock. I find these silicone socks generally comfortable; I wear them in the evenings while relaxing on the couch, take them off after a couple hours and let my feet breathe a bit, and then reapply my balm and socks and wear them to bed. If I wake up in the middle of the night, which I almost always do (not because of the socks), I'll take the socks off and allow my feet to breathe again. I wear a woman's size 6 shoe and the small size is pretty comfortable. However, I made the mistake of wearing them while being on my feet for a couple hours straight during household chores -- they must've somehow cut off my circulation a bit with the standing, so I wouldn't recommend wearing these silicone socks while being active. And since they're not exactly my foot size, they slide around sometimes and will start to feel tight at my big toe. But if that happens, I just tug on the toe area of the sock to give my big toe more wiggle room and problem solved. Prior to wearing these socks, I was soaking and doing heavy duty exfoliation of my feet every week. These socks seem like they'll work to help me extend the time between soakings and exfoliations. The 5 pack is a great value. So far none have torn, so they seem rather durable. Not sure what I could even do to tear a hole in these.
