Drop-In Self-Watering Pot for Jars, Bowls, Aquariums, and Custom Water Setups

This large freestanding wicking planter gives you complete flexibility in how and where you water your plants.

Unlike mounted systems, this drop-in design does not require a bracket. It includes a flat base disc that sits directly in a body of water, allowing you to place it inside jars, bowls, shallow trays, aquariums, jarariums, or custom water vessels.

If there is water below, this planter can wick from it.

How the Drop-In Wicking System Works

The planter sits above a water source. A wick extends downward into the water, drawing moisture upward into the structured substrate through capillary action.

As the plant uses moisture, more water is pulled up automatically. No pumps. No plumbing. No fixed mounting hardware.

You control the vessel. The planter handles hydration.

Designed for Flexible Water Environments

This freestanding design works well in:

• Large jars
• Glass bowls
• Decorative water vessels
• Shallow trays
• Small aquariums
• Jarariums
• Custom plant-and-water displays

Because it does not rely on a mounting bracket, you can experiment with different water depths, container styles, and visual setups.

Built for Structured Wicking Performance

The planter is engineered for consistent moisture and airflow in continuous-hydration environments.

Pair it with one of two Mossari substrate options.

Enriched Wicking Substrate – Added Nutrient Support

Designed for stronger establishment and fuller foliage growth.

Includes:

• Coco coir for balanced moisture retention
• Perlite for oxygen flow
• Worm castings for gentle nutrient support
• Kelp meal for trace minerals and growth compounds
• Neem meal for organic matter support
• Gypsum for calcium and structural stability

Ideal for growers who want nutrient buffering built into the root zone.

Inert Wicking Substrate – Full Feeding Control

Includes:

• Coco coir
• Coco chips
• Perlite

No added fertilizers or amendments.

Best for growers who prefer to control nutrients through liquid feeding or aquatic systems.

Why Choose Mossari

Mossari planters are engineered around structured wicking performance, not decorative gimmicks. Each design balances moisture delivery, aeration, and long-term durability.

This freestanding version gives you the same wicking performance as a mounted system, with total placement freedom.

A quick but thoughtful read. This book is great to share with friends and an excellent conversation starter without being exactly political, in the negative sense of the word. Inspires constructive conversation regardless of your background.

It's How Wars End That Become Important Afterward
Format: Paperback
The twentiety century taught us a lot about wars and how they end. World War I showed us that making strong demands on the defeated (who didn't admit defeat to their own people) set the stage for the next big war. World War II was fought until the Unconditional Surrender of the Germans and Japanese. Something that thinkers still debate as having made them fight all that harder. VietNam was fought with no clear end in sight, and "another VietNam" entered our language. The first Gulf War was ended when Colin Powell and Bush II debated how to end the war. They stopped before they had to go in and see what the Sunni's, Shiite's and Kurds made of the power vacuum left by the removal of Saddam would have created. Bush II is learning about this now. This is the second revised edition of this book, originally published in 1971 and then updated in 1991 and now 2005 to reflect happenings in new wars. Still some of the old wars had interesting insights that I didn't know before, such as how Finland, originally on Germany's side against Russia, made a peace with Russia and kicked the Germans out before they became a Russian province. Great Book.
