- Sow on trays of moist compost
- Sprinkle a very light covering of sieved compost over the seeds so as not completely covered
- Place in bright warm spot (room temperature) but out of direct sunlight
- Keep moist, avoid drying out or waterlogging the growing mix.
- Germination generally occurs in around 7-20 days - will vary as so many species so some thinning of the early sprouters may be required
